Union Square Garage: The discounted parking rate is $5.75 only on Union Arts Center performance days.
LAZ Blackouts: The Weekday Matinee rate is not available during major conventions such as The Flower & Garden Show, Emerald City Comic Con, Sakura Con, etc. Discounts will not be available for the matinee shows during conventions because LAZ needs to ensure there’s adequate parking space for tenants and patrons of the Union Square building. In addition to this, the LAZgo pre-paid parking system has a blackout until 5pm during big conventions such as The Flower & Garden Show, Emerald City Comic Con, Sakura Con, etc. Meaning no one can pre-pay for parking until 5pm on weekdays. This is in place so Convention Center patrons cannot purchase parking for the garages during the day on weekdays. For evenings and weekends, there’s no blackout since the garage has plenty of parking space available during evenings and weekends.
Please Note: The Seattle Convention Center closes at 8:00 pm, and there is no access to the elevators to their parking garage after this time. If you park here for an evening performance, you will need to walk around the convention center and up the hill to access the parking garage. Patrons are encouraged to park in the LAZ parking garage, where there is fully ADA accessible pathways to and from the building.
