Union Arts Center’s Bullitt Cabaret

Volpone (the Fox), a wealthy Venetian, lusts for yet more gold, and with the help of his devious brilliant servant Mosca (the Fly), delights in finding ways to steal it from his wealthy, corrupt Venetian neighbors. Ben Jonson’s renowned 1606 comedy takes us on a wild funny ride with one of the greatest plots in all theatre through a greedy mad society where self-interest is the only real value, and deception the only truth. And where the greatest pleasure of all is… THE GRIFT.

Union Arts Center is thrilled to welcome ACT’s former Artistic Director, Kurt Beattie, and David Brewster to the Bullitt Cabaret in March for the inaugural staged reading of their new theatre company, Music Stand Theatre.
